If you would like the convenience of local computer sales, service, repair and support, you're in luck! Long-time residents and local businesses owners, Corky Stanton and Scott Cockerham, have opened the new Oakhurst Computers below Round Table Pizza (facing Hwy 41) in Oakhurst.

Scott Cockerham has many years experience building and repairing computers.  Scott is also the owner of the local wood sign shop, originally started by Corky Stanton.  In 1996, Corky started SierraNet, the first local number Internet service in Oakhurst.  He taught computer classes at Yosemite High School and started SierraStar.com as a free service for the Sierra Star that same year. A few years later, Corky sold his Internet Provider to Sierra Telephone.  Since the sale, Corky has been traveling and developing websites. Now it's time for the two friends to start a new partnership in Oakhurst Computers.

Mr. Sands worked with Corky Stanton at SierraNet and started his own web design company, Oakhurst Online, in 2002. Oakhurst Online web hosting and design services are also provided through the new Oakhurst Computers store. The new Oakhurst store has great holiday specials on new laptops and desktop personal computers. Their repair technicians can remove spyware and viruses from your computer, making your computer boot faster and perform better.
